I like the artwork. It's not flawless, but it has character. Also, if it looks a little off it may have to do with the fact that 3 different artists worked on it according to the second page up there.

eff you naysayers, this art is impressive.

lol...I LOVE it when everyone says "I HATE THE ART!!". One, then don't buy it. Two, most importantly, Let's see you do better, fanboy.

at the risk of sounding disparaging to others' subjective opinions, i can't believe some people hate the art!

i love it, and for a one-shot, i totally welcome Albuquerque's fresh quasi-cartooning. loved most of his work with DC though

If Elixir's around, someone important will get brutally maimed, requiring Elixir to heal them. Shit character, but I hope they don't leave him in limbo like the Kyle/Yost XForce series did. Even crap characters ought to go away in a logical fashion rather than simply be forgotten.

See, they had to ditch Elixir or they would have had to explain why he didn't just heal Karma's leg and Hellion's hands. But they just acted like he didn't exist anymore, which is dumb.

@Farkosaurus

I'm not saying no one has the right to not like the art, thats fine. I guess my point is, I come from a time when you were taught "If you have nothing to nice to say, then dont say anything". I'm not a fan Rob Leifeld art, but You'll never see me post it, because it has no bearing in anything. I understand that his artwork sells comics. I think a lot of people either weren't taught that, or have just forgotten it. Most of the time, it just sounds like senseless trolling rather than a well thought out idea. Do you really thing that any of these people who hate the artwork will NOT buy the product? That being said, what was gained by the negativity? Nothing.

Is it you RIGHT to say what you want, sure. That doesn't mean you SHOULD say what you want. (I may not like what you say, but I'll die for your right to say it).

There is a fine line between standing behind the right to have an opinion, just spewing out any random thought and actually having the manners and courtesy to put thought into WHY you don't like the artwork.

@Baldbix76 I'm old (43 next month) and I come from a time where it does more harm to praise someone for crappy work. Coddling never helped anyone. I agree you shouldn't just post "I hate the artwork" as that is not a constructive criticism. Instead post why you hate the artwork. Perhaps the artist will see it and try to improve upon his craft then.

With that being said I will reiterate that I liked the artwork even though I found it to be a little too loose for my tastes. It added more character or style in my opinion.

In the end...saying "your artwork sucks" is about the silliest thing I can think of, it's art, after all. It's definitely better than "stick-men", No one thinks Picasso sucks with his eyes in the wrong places n' all. Constructive criticism is fine, but all I'm asking is that someone be educated in what they're criticizing and if they are, then "his artwork is 'stoopid'" is probably not the best way to go about it. Be that as it may, I'm 36...old enough to know better, and I NEVER stated that praising crappy work is good...I mean for shits sake...one would think that company like , oh say... MARVEL, 'might' know what they're doing when they hire artists and writers.
