Man, i've been super negative today and i really don't want to sound like a troll (really, i don't) but that art is UGLY. i don't know what everyone's excited about. It's like Jim Lee crossed with John Romita Jr. Cartoony chunky figures with excessive lines. Why is this so well recieved?

@GetsugaTensho22 So how do you get to critique this artist? You don't have a job at marvel. let me see your portfolio, jackass.

Easily the BEST Costume that Wolverine has ever worn...

If only we could see that Brown Version in the Movies...

@REMIMARK5: that logic is pretty weak. I can't build a car or work at BMW, but I know is rather drive a BMW than a shitty Lada Niva. Besides, you guys seem to like the art. Do YOU work at Marvel? Let's see YOUR portfolio. Hmmm?

Madness is the man. I remember when I first read Agent X and the anime-ish-style was so vibrant, each and every character stood out. It's just unfortunate that he's on a Wolverine book. Marvel is a master at character overuse.

I've always preferred the subdued brown costume.

But since when is Wolverine "no good in a fight, not at first"? What happened to "I'm the best at what I do but what I do best isn't very nice"?

I'm a Mad fan from his Uncanny X-Men days in the 90's. I feel no shame. He is a master of his chosen art style. I think it's exciting and dynamic and has a lot of motion to it. Haters gonna hate, but I think he deserves respect.

Read #6 and it's easily better than all of the current Thunderbolts. Elektra's such a badass (obviously)!

@REMIMARKS - Don't take it so personal that Getsuga doesn't like the artwork. I agree that it looks awesome, but instead of getting upset why not explain to him/her why the artwork is brilliant. If he/she doesn't agree then oh well...at least you'd get your idea across.

@GetsugaTensho22: The reason the art is awesome is because of the perspective and movement of it. Compare Madiura's artwork with say, Alex Maleev. Very different artists and great for different reasons. Maleev uses a more realistic perspective and movement to his art, whereas Mad uses exaggeration for his. Again, not for everyone's taste, but, just like I don't care about the music of the Eagle's, you can appreciate the skill involved without necessarily liking the product.

I wouldn't mind him permanently drawing this series. This is one of the best Wolverines i've seen in awhile, alot of people just mess over Wolverine. This is the 90's Wolverine i loved so much!

@GetsugaTensho22 I guess Tite Kubo
Work ( I'm guessing because of your avatar ) far better? I'm a fan of both men art work, but Kubo work can become jumbled and sloppy making the story hard to follow. Mad is the man, he make the characters his with ever stoke, been a fan since the phalanx saga.
