Toxin's dialogue seems a bit rubbish, but other than that this looks pretty good - i do like the symbiote story lines

I don't like the way it looks. The art is so so. I've seen worse but I've also seen a whole lot better.

I want Carnage to come back. Cletus Kassidy was well funny. But I think Flash is gonna have to bring out the inner demon to batter the living c**p out of Toxin and give his grandson a good spanking, or just make some sort of truce.

Toxin design isn't very good, hate it's back. Antivenom was really cool and his mini series was ace. I understand the need to make new characters over the years, but as the comments on this page show, there are too many symbiotes to keep track of.

Carnage miniseries is awesome and venom is ace but I think beyond that they need to sort out their roster

Antivenom sacrificed himself during spider island. I think toxin was taken by crimelord in an earlier venom story

Looks like the artist, Declan Shalvey, has been heavily influenced by Mike Mignola's artwork. Toxin, as well as the entirety of this comic, seems straight from the pages of Hellboy of BPRD.

I love Mignola' work, just not sure how I feel with it being applied to other, more general comics. Think this style is too distinct to suddenly appear in a venom monthly

Yikes chill out @imadick , all of venom, scarlet spider, spidergirl and carnage miniseries have been really well done I feel. Superior isn't somethng I'm a massive fan off but big time run as a whole was the best spidey's been in years. So I think a reboot would be a mistake.

Also I like TASM lol I think other than the lizard being a shit hulk it was pretty good fun

This comic was awesome in its first issues... then the whole thing went to hell about the time Fash had that demonic adventure, or after his father died, IDK. Anyway, it's a pretty "meh" reading nowadays

Love this series and love that it takes place in Philadelphia. Carnage, Venom, and Toxin are the only Symbiotes that matter anyway, and I have to say I still love the idea of Flash as a Special Ops style Venom, I mean c'mon that's pretty much the most badass combo in comics right now and one of the more original ideas that I've seen out of a Spiderman book in a long time. Also if the art is making you hesitant, it definitely grew on me, and I'm an a-hole when it comes to art in comics.

@MrMartinMarvel ...common dude, it helps to actually read the stories. First off Anti-Venom isn't even a symbiote. Aside from that he doesn't exist anymore, as per Eddie using up all of the Anti-Venom suit to cure the spider plagues from Spider Island. After which he went around and murdered the rest of the miscellaneous symbiotes. So Scream is dead. There are currently three symbiotes alive today: Venom, Carnage and Toxin. That's it.
