I'm not a huge Punisher fan. When this book was announced I thought "does he really need another attempt at a solo book?"

That being said, this book has been awesome and I look forward to Franks role moving forward in the Marvel universe.

How did he get his eye back? I remember reading an explanation, but I don't recall. I rather liked the eyepatched Punisher.

@ DrLove

kinda funny, Punisher works bet in his own solo books. He's a gritty character with no powers. All he uses are his wits and guns. He doesn't work well with others, and its always a little ridiculous to see him going up agains super powered enemies. He works best when he's grounded in "realism" and taking on street crime. Not the super-powered criminals of the world.

Maybe Frank will kill all the inmates in the prison before he breaks out.
