If there's one thing Frank Castle enjoys, it's killing bad guys. Though he usually settles for low-level street thugs and mob bosses, from time to time he'll set his sights on a well-known Marvel supervillain, and this time it's Iron Man's greatest adversary, The Mandarin.

In the pages of Matthew Rosenberg's Punisher #1, we find out that Baron Zemo and the Mandarin have teamed up with Roxxon in an attempt to have the nation of Bagalia recognised by the United Nations, with Zemo as its official leader and Mandarin as Bagalia’s delegate to the U.N.

However, a certain ultra-violent vigilante shows up during Mandarin's speech and cuts it short with a "magic bullet" to the head.

Of course, very few main characters stay dead in comics so there's every chance The Mandarin will return at some point. But for now, it certainly looks like Castle has succeeded in taking out yet another major Marvel villain.
