So, who would win if the Accursed met the Mechanic? Well, you won't have to wait for answers much longer as Kieron Gillen's Iron Man arc the "Rings of the Mandarin" will pit the two against each other come March 2014's Marvel NOW! Iron Man #23.

Now that Malekith has got his hands on one of the Mandarin's ten favourite pieces of jewellery he is overtaken by a hatred of Tony Stark.

During an interview with Newsarama Gillen had this to say about the story, "This is as much Tony having a problem with Malekith as vice versa. The main story is about Tony coming for Malekith, in a black-ops style mission to the dark elves' realm."

Who do you think would win between the two? Are you going to pick up Rings of the Mandarin? As always sign off your opinion below.

So clearly Thor doesn't defeat him in this current story arc.

Marvel Now Iron Man has been great. Iron Man having space adventures, finding out he's not a Stark by blood, finding the true "Stark son"... It's been a great read so far.

His infinite comics has been good too.

The Iron-Man comic has stunk since Marvel NOW.

I'd disagree. I'd say Marvel Now finally made the book interesting again. His new origin, the introduction of Arno, Mandarin City, it's all bits of genius that are leading up to Tony fulfilling his role in the X-Sanction prophecy.
