this is shaping up to be one of the best events.

Ha! No way Bucky is worthy. Steve, yes. Bucky, no.

@Exiles....doubt it, look at the handle, it is lacking the leather wrapping.

I can't wait for this event, hope this takes the Heroic age and the rest of the Marvel universe in a bold new direction, I love the Heroic Age so far, back to heroism is what I love.

I'm sorry, i'm really sorry. I used to be all about Marvel. Only reading Marvel and nothing else. Five years later I'm barely reading anything by Marvel. This is sadly their first event that I have not cared at all about.

Sure i'll read the thing but I just can't feel that original spark of "OH MY GOD THIS IS AWESOME" anymore. Siege had it a little bit just because it was the end of Dark Reign. But I have no idea what Fear Itself is about and I don't really care.

The only thing thats selling this to me at the minute is it's an event book not written by Bendis.

Grey Gargoyle, crappy ass character. WTF is he doing in a major story arc?

I hope its good. Siege was a pile of crap. 4 issues for a big even like that? in the 4 main issues, hardly anything happened. and then the Sentry turned into the Void, floated in the air, and just let everyone attack him and kill him with hardly any effort. really? what a piece of crap that story was.

anyway, i don't think thats Mjolnir, mostly because it looks nothing like it...

Grey Gargoyle is terrible, that being said Marvel's story arcs as of late have been AMAZING. Civil War and Siege are the best I've ever read.

Wow. This looks awesome. I think it's a fantastic idea that Marvel is using lesser known characters in major story arcs.
It's a good way to expand their universe

intresting, fear itself could be the marvel event that we've all been waiting for.

Thats not thunderstrike...thunderstrike is a mace...does look like mjolnir...minus the leather straps round the handle...could just be how the artist drew it...Hmmmm...

One could speculate that if Mjolnir were in a bad enough scrap, all that would remain intact would be the uru itself. The leather trappings atomized. It does look exactly like that. Just sayin'.

@NikNik....its not just Uru metal but also has a soul link to Thor, if it breaks, even a chunk breaks off, in this issue then Thor will Die.

@KillerOfSaints - That was the "Amalgam" crossover, I actually have that book along with most of the other ones too still

If it's Mjolnir then it's missing the strapping on the handle. Might be a reason for that. It could also be that elongated hammer that Ronan The Accuser uses.
