Yes, it is cool. But, what is the significance of his glowing eyes? Does he now have powers like Storm? Did lightning strike his eyeballs? What?

I always preferred the white eyes in the TV series to the green ones in the movies, just scarier.

Please Marvel, give Ruffalo white lenses for the Hulk transformation.

Hulk vs Banner? Hm. Since they're going to do that again, I'd like to see Banner totally smash the Hulk this time, pound him into submission, proving he's the superior, original personality, then see them come back together with "Banner" in control. For a little while anyway - I love my Savage Hulk!

This gets back to what comic book covers should be. Intense, heroic and full of action. great find!

imnotwearinghockeypants- Yeah, i [frick]ing hate Hulk as a main character in anything. I still can't figure out why he still has his own comic series. He's got to be THE character that can be most defined by the phrase "Been there, done that". Of course a lot of other characters go through the same shit over and over again, but at least they can have the intellect and development to deal with things in different ways, depending on what's going on in their lives at that moment, to still make things interesting. To me, it's the same as if Juggernaut had his own series since forever. A big retard with a helmet running his own show for decades. YAWN!

Shaman lol that is the most incorrect and ignorant(to the subject at hand) statement you have ever made.

Hulk is more then just a big Dummy running around and Juggernaut is even further from that. Hulk is the embodiment of internal warfare. Juggernaut is the Avatar for one of the most powerful Principalities in the Marvel Universe.

Though I do understand where you are coming from. They tend to use the same story, especially as of lately. He has had some of the most captivating stories and has the versatility to lead bigger tales.

I agree with you mostly, but c'mon, the new Hulk book with Rulk is pretty badass. The character actually develops, and the stories are actually pretty damn good. Give hulk a chance yo'.

Of course, i was talking about the Red Hulk, not the green one.

BrandonLi, bropous & ThaMessenger07- Well i definitely respect your tastes and opinions. But Bropus, you yourself have just used words like "classic & revisited" to describe Hulk's concept. It's been visited way too many times for way too long IMHO. I just can't enjoy him anymore. I used to love putting a shitload of peanut butter on my toasts for the longest time (as the other part of my breakfast ;) until a day came where i just couldn't enjoy it anymore without adding jam to it. Maybe Red Hulk is the jam to Banner's butter, i don't know cause i quit Hulk before the red one appeared. As a concept, i'll have to honestly tell you that creating a red version of an already existing character isn't the right spice to add to any recipe but hey... i haven't tasted it yet. I just might give it a shot if you guys say it's definitely NOT even near what Hulk has been for decades. As of now, i have to say that i find Skaar to be much more of an interesting concept. But i've been hesitent in trying him out too.

@Shaman

You do know who the Red Hulk is don't you ? And why it's interesting to see this person as the Red Hulk ?

And btw, if you do plan to read the new Red Hulk book (which is named Hulk), just skip the Loeb ones. And just start on Jeff Parker's run. The art is so awesome too.

Red Hulk = Lame. I prefer my hulk green and not any other colors just because they run out of ideas, marketing department is telling writers how to do their work, or because they are too lazy to come up with new characters and new names.

BrandonLi- Yeah, i do. And as a "concept", i find it a bit lame. But... i will agree that the character's personality is what could bring something very interesting to the table. The red she-hulk though, was pushing it to a new level of lameness. She's definitely the ONE person i didn't want her to be.

So Hulk is on a Highlander kick? He takes powers from those he kills? Like Rogue? Still wanna see rogue "kill" Mrs. Marvel, man that would be wicked. i hate fox.

I get where Shaman is coming from to an extent. I like the character, but it's hard to find many Hulk story arcs I would recommend to anyone...there's a few, sure, but when compared to Marvel's other characters, he's not been handled that well. "World War Hulk" was amazing, but things have got all [frick]ed up since then. There's like 8 different Hulks now which take away a lot of what makes the character special IMO. This new series looks like it'll be taking him back to basics though, so I can't wait. :)

World War Hulk was amazing, but if you do plan to read it, start with Planet Hulk. That actually sets the back story up nice and was better written.

Just a suggestion, of course....sounds like you are burned out on the character.

World War Hulk is by far the best Hulk storyline. I like how he pretty much kicked the entire Marvel Universe's asses, and it introduced us to the Green Scar, his most powerful incarnation so far.
