Apocalypse has risen, an army of X-Men at his side. The Avengers have been inverted – their moral compass spinning hopelessly on its axis. And the world’s most vile villains now stand as the Marvel Universe’s only hope. Yet amidst the chaos the Red Skull, coupled with the awesome psychic powers of Charles Xavier has escaped his prison cell. Where has he gone? Who aided him? And what will he do now that he’s been set free? The pieces are on the board and the final battle is about to begin. Be there when chaos and disorder washes over the Marvel Universe in AVENGERS & X-MEN: AXIS #7!

Ugh,its hard to get in this cause Apocalypse is just going to be here temporarily.

This event has been ok. Spider verse has been the event to read imo. Carnage has been fun with this

Will someone explain this "Kluh" to me. I have not heard of him before. How do you even pronounce that?

If Doom has been inverted here shouldn't he be White Victor?

The story idea in this is really good but the execution is just off. Wish they'd have just let Remender tell this story in the pages of Uncanny Avnegers.

I wonder if Marvel will retro fit Doom in the comics to be an anti-social programmer instead of a world conquering monarch?

Probably not.
It's not a very good idea.
Sorry I brought it up.

carry on . . .

@beane2099

You're so right. I wish they'd dispense with these mega events and gives us a few (5) years of writers and artists staying on the books they're on and stop annoying the OTHER writer/artist teams (and us) with these incessant macro-crossover stories.

Can you imagine, Marvel never would have been built if Stan, Jack, Roy and the others had drawn out every story like they do now. Just FOR INSTANCE (and I don't care WHY they did things the way they did way back then), imagine the first time the Fantastic Four meet and fight the Uncanny X-men (shockingly titled, We Have to Fight the X-men!). You have mind control, psychic clay, heroes forced to fight heroes, Mad Thinker, Puppet Master, and the Android . . .You can easily see how this could have escalated into a full scale war with other heroes joining in and choosing sides. A half a year could have been milked out of that, but Stan and Jack had us in and out in an issue.
Or think about Roy's magnus opus . . . at a paltry nine issues. Certainly today's Marvel could have stretched it out to two years (or even longer).
The point being that just because we CAN fill in every story-nook and cranny with mini series spin-offs and single issues written from the perspective of the common joe . . . doesn't mean we should.
