i'm enjoying this avengers title more than new avengers,don't get me wrong i love both books but this one features the better characters.

exnhilo is one of the best new villains of recent years.

Weaver's artwork is sick with awesomitis (he has inflamation of the awesome). 9 issues in and I'm okay with saying this is already one of my favorite runs on Avengers.

This series is one of the better series that Marvel has put out.
Ex Nihilo is the best new original character since Onslaught.

My introduction to comics was through the New Universe, which prided itself on being a completely separate entity from the bigger Marvel U. When the New U. got cancelled, I thought it was a travesty that some of the characters were being folded into the main universe.

Now all these years later, I've come to appreciate the 616 U., and I am happy that the carryovers from New U. live on, even in some small, faintly recognizable way.

I usually hate hickman but I absolutely love what he's doing on the avengers books. It's been two [frick]ing years since I've been able to read avengers. Go to hell bendis!

Great unfolding storyline,it's rolled out a bit slow but the place it's going is amazing. As far as the Avenger/New Avenger debate...drastically different characters. They are both upper echelon books...New Avengers like X-Men Legacy and Superior Spider Man are my addictions though! Well you know what i love 95% of Marvel Now!
