Picked up the first two issues of this series yesterday. Great fun! Scott Lang is the Ant-Man I know least about, but I'm diggin him in this book.

Haven't picked this one up either. I've never been a fan of anything Fantastic 4 related but did give the new Marvel NOW! series a chance..bored the crap out of me.

I really dig this artwork. Allred pulls off that pulp feel very well. Was very skeptical when I first saw FF but I may have to pick it up.

Amazing book so far. Allred's art is so expressive, he nails the comedy and has so much heart.
She Hulk looks INCREDIBLE in this book.

And to all those who scoffed at Miss Thing, shame on you. She's the POV human character, Johnny's date who he unceremoniously dumped with a responsibility she doesnt want or need. Typical Johnny. "oh hey, i gotta go to the past or something for a bit, you wanna be in the F4? Oh good, cya!"

Can't wait to see her clomping around in her robot Thing suit.

OK, that last page there...I can't wrap my head around it, how the hell are you supposed to read that thing? I think he got a little too creative with the page layout.

You know what? This art style is growing on me

@Marvel72: hey man what books did u pick up yesterday? A LOT of comic books came out

@Marvel87: Yeah I constantly read IGNs comic reviews, they tend to be pretty tough on their grading system so if I see them giving an amazing review to something, for me it means I should be trying it

i love Allred's art as well. although i do admit, it's an acquired taste. i think if he had some fresher colors more people would enjoy it.

i think this art is.. FUN.

but the last scene in the elevator. Umm..Is he running after the bad guys down the stairs or is everyone in the building trying to see pixie in a towel at the bottom level in the elevator?? Not sure

@Marvel72: I forgot to pick up hulk! I can't believe I did but good thing my shop is holding on to a copy for me

I got all new xmen, avengers, and EVERY issue of hawkeye and I cant believe it took me this long to get them, it's soo good

I liked avengers more than xmen this week, what did u think bout young cyclops vs. old cyclops....kinda short no?

What was really amazing was Mike Allred's rendition of Mole Man in issue #2! That and how he drew a piece of machinery in the FF building. It was a PURE homage to Jack Kirby that was refreshing, respectful and exuberant. This book as well as Thor, Indestrctible Hulk and All New X-Men are the crowning jewels of Marvel NOW!
