Welcome to Planet X – the new mutant homeworld. Torn from their home, Homo Superior has begun anew away from a world that hates and fears them. Life is great – assuming you possess the mutant gene!

Janet Van Dyne, the Wasp, stands alone as the last remaining human being alive. Now, she fights for her life against Magneto and his All-New X-Force! Magneto’s dream of mutant superiority almost in his grasp – he’ll stop at nothing to exterminate the last of humanity once and for all! But they’ll have to get through the Wasp’s husband Havok first! And the leader of the Uncanny Avengers won’t go down that easily!

“It’s been a long time coming—more than a year in the making!—but we’re finally at the big epic climax of Rick’s mega-arc,” says Executive Editor Tom Brevoort. “As readers have reacted to the startling events of the past few issues, wondering just how all of this can possibly be happening, we’ve known all along that the real shockers were yet to come! And Daniel Acuña’s depictions of Planet X are so fully-realized and so amazing that you’ll want to buy a condo there yourself (if you happen to be a mutant!)”

“It’s not too late for readers to get on board for the most amazing finale they’ll read all year! And they’ll need to, if only to feel well-informed and ready when—but I’ve said too much!”

What has happened to the rest of the Uncanny Avengers? Who survived the Apocalypse Twins cataclysmic plot, and how? Find out when Avenge the Earth kicks off in UNCANNY AVENGERS 18.NOW this March!

I thought Groot was from Panet X. I just knew mutants would eventually invade his homeworld.

Why is Wasp drawn like a painted cosplayer? Most women wouldn't choose a costume that had their boobs hang out. When she flies they would jiggle and flop, possibly affecting her maneuverability.

I like all the variant covers the first two are really nice and beautifully drawn especially the second one. The other two are funny and cute I especially like platapus Wolverine with his little webbed claws. Lastly I really like Havok so a story centered around mainly him is fine in my book.

@liverpool4life

Is this your first comic book you ever looked at my friend? Because this is is no way strange of a costume and actually very conservative there have been a shit ton of female costumes that are nothing more then pasties over the nipples and vagina so this is way more practical and realistic then most of the stuff that has been drawn.

Peshmerga. My comment is more in reference to the cover art. Yes, I have Avengers 3-305, plus thousands of others.

If you are bored by True Detective, rewatch it in 10 yrs. By then you may understand subtlety and character development.

Magneto looks like Magneto with a beard I don't see any horns, hooved feet, or long pointed tail on him

Looks like they're trying to hype up the best tier 2 X-Men and Avngers and bring them into top tier. They've been doing this for years with Havok, he was the hero in War of Kings and now is leading the X-Men/Avengers conjoined team.

They did it last year with Hank Pym's big Ultron event, and his new cybernetic Avengers team book. Now it's Wasp's turn.

True Detective is awesome!

This book gets bigger and crazier with each new issue. If you read no other Marvel book ... well read Jason Aaron's Thor. But if you read TWO Marvel books read Jason Aaron's Thor and this! We haven't even got to Kang and Immortus and their cross time teams yet and then there's still the matter of Red Skull with Xavier's powers.

@ Marvelicious I really wouldn't be surprised if Remender created this Planet X business as a reference to that GotG story. He's a big on referencing continuity, which is rare for a Marvel book. When it comes to continuity Marvel's motto is "eh."

@beane2099

Well if that is true, I don't personally believe that, is that any worse then DC's motto on continuity. "[frick] it were gonna reboot in 10 years anyway"
