Kurt from 616 universe is still dead(suprisingly long time), this is Nightcrawler from Age of Apocalypse universe. In AoA-universe Nightcrawler is a bit different, his name for expamle is not Kurt Wagner, it's Kurt Darkholme.

Why do they keep killing all the X-Men? Is this the only X-Men story that anybody can think of?

@The14thAvenger He died in "Second Coming" which is an essential Xmen read. It involves Hope, Cable and the brink of Mutants destruction. Really recommend it. Especially when Xforce must go to the future and what they see.

AoA Nightcrawler you have to read AoA. So you have to read LEGION QUEST. Which is a 4 parter that tells the story of Xavier's son going to the past to try to help accomplish Xavier's dream. What he does is MASSIVELY screw up the time line creating AoA.

After that you must read AoA which consists of Xmen Alpha, and the 4 part Amazing Xmen and Astonishing Xmen and finally Xmen Omega.

You'll get the full idea of AoA and Nightcrawler. ..

Oh wait. Xforce actually went back there and met Weapon Omega(New Apocolypse). I believe that's in the "Uncanny Xforce AoA " story. It's right after the "Dark Angle saga. Maybe issue 18 19?

Anyway. There is all your AoA needs.

Alright, that explains why I had no idea AOA Kurt had a wife. She was mentioned and died in the same issue, Uncanny X-men #25. Killed (eaten?) by the Blob. Nightcrawler sure got his revenge on this one though.

Her name was Linda, but it doesn't look like she's based off any character from main continuity or that she has any mutant powers.
