THE HOBGOBLIN IS BACK! The twist around the beginning really caught me off guard. Anyways, does the second issue of Big Time deliver a BIG issue? Read on.

When they said something big will happen every issue, they weren't lying. This issue brings back the Hobgoblin. (Who I think is cooler than the Green Goblin.)

This issue starts off right. Robert Kingsly, the original Hobgoblin, is back and working for Kingpin....which doesn't last too long. Talk about a twist. This Spider-Man issue probably has the most violent scene depicted in the last ten years.

The art really brings out the Hobgoblin's demonic look. Sometimes the art can be a little too cartoony though.

So this Mach 5 used to be the Beetle. Interesting. I can't wait to see what's going on with the dormant Symbiote.

In closing, this issue continues what Big Time is supposed to be. Slott is doing an awesome job at keeping the pace fast and exciting.

I give this issue a 4/5. Part three of Big Time will be out in one week.

do you think Mach V telling us he was Beetle, really that important of a plot point?

Hey, I thought that was pretty interesting. The Beetle was a joke back in the day, now he's trying to be cool as Mach 5.
