Somebody else called it earlier, but I think She-Hulk is definitely the way to go! Throw in Peter David to write it, and my DVR will be on it!

ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN's gonna be the big budget movie lol, we'll see! ; P

Argee with DEADPOOL, the ultimate universe is weak and watered down version of the characters we love.

SHE-HULK if anything will be in the HULK TV show! : p

THE PUNISHER SERIES!

the ultimate universe started out quite strong, and was a great premise. ultimate spidey remains good to this day, and the initial Ultimates work was actually very different and kinda refreshing. Mainly it was Brian Hitch's artwork, but it was something new. Everything else was kinda meh, and at this point everything had degrading to rip offs of 616 and basically just a new alternate continuity. The whole "realism" part was completely thrown out the window.

I can't stand Ultimate anymore. Everything Ultimate just sucks.

The guy shits on Hulk fans with Red Hulk and gets a promotion out of it? They better not make Red Hulk the antagonist in the Hulk TV show. Man, I can't tell you how much I despise Red Hulk...

Never saw the point of bringing in Red Hulk when so many other back characters available,it just cluttered up even more the recent hulk stoylines and as for Red Hulk nearly taking out Thor! Yeh right!! lol.

@ alw

well, if Red Hulk almost taking out Thor makes you mad, then you must have been REALLY pissed when the dark avengers kicked the ever loving shit out of Thor, and almost killed him with no problem. No one in the Dark Avengers were even that tough or hardcore, they shouldn't have been able to lay a finger on Thor. At least Red Hulk is strong as hell, and SHOULD give him a good fight...

I wish I didn't put my 2 odd bucks on ULTIMATES vol.1 that helped with a million others to keep it alive lol!

Should have stayed a one-off, like the excellent Esleworlds stories from DC!

Why this need to go ultimates? Why not just continue the current storyline with some tweeks. Marvel thinks the ultimates are the way to go. They are making a big mistake.

I sure find it heartening to find others who share my dislike for the ultimate universe.

Deadpool72: To me, the ultimate universe started off promising. I liked Ultimate Spidey as an "alternate reality" version of the character. It has devolved from there to where I can't read it anymore. Almost all of the rest of it, I have hated from day one. I have a strong preference for the classic 616 universe, ESPECIALLY for the Avengers.

Leee: I wish I had spent the money I used to buy the first couple of issues of ultimates vol. 1 on something else.

JEPH LOEB ROCKS!!!!! But as a DC fan i gotta say i wish he would go back to DC. His writing while he was there was just plain awesome. BATMAN HUSH and his SUPES/BATS run are still some of the best stuff i've read.

Ultimate Universe is a great concept. Really it is. Its a way to modernize certain aspects of classic Characters. Its just poorly executed...

Ultimate Spiderman was (when I last read it) one of the best books on the shelves.

How to become rich? Easy! Spam message boards on the internet offering to show how to become rich for $48. There are enough morons in the world who will fall for it that you'll make a nice pile of tax-free money. Adding a nice piece of spyware or a trojan that secretly loads when the gullible fools visit the website will allow you to steal their credit card numbers and various passwords also, allowing for further wealth through identity theft.

and just to stay on topic, I'm an old-fashioned guy. I like my beer cold, my TV loud, and my Hulk green.
