Joe Quesada has been working for Marvel Comics for what feels like forever, so getting to see his take on characters from the DC Universe is definitely an unexpected treat. Recently, he's been keeping fans on social media entertained with a vast array of sketches, but these two are definite highlights.

As you can see, the first is from a few years back and features Captain America squaring off with Batman.

That's a clash fans have always hotly debated, and when they crossed paths in the JLA/Avengers crossover event, the heroes ended up battling to a standstill. If this sketch from Quesada is any indication, though, it's Cap who has managed to gain the upper hand over The Dark Knight.

In the second piece of artwork, we get to see the artist's version of Harley Quinn. We're pretty sure that's a first for Quesada, and it's definitely interesting to see her brought to life by the artist.

Many people in the comic industry have campaigned for a Marvel vs. DC crossover when everything is said and done in order to increase sales and interest in comic books after what's looking like a lengthy delay for weekly titles due to COVID-19. With any luck, that's something Quesada would be involved in!

@campblood - I think that if Batman can take down Superman then he'd technically be able to take down Cap as well. But that's only if weapons were allowed. In purely hand to hand combat it'd come down to the wire and could go either way. Cap has the advantage of the super soldier serum but Bats knows just about every fighting style known to man inside and out.

I'm not a huge fan of Quesada, but it seems his Batman sketch is leaning towards the light gray dark blue tones of the earlier eras, like Adam West, so I'll at least golf clap his taste in that.

Still ruined Spider-Man, though.

His work is similar to Paul M. Smith's.
