2015 has come to an end. There's only one thing left on the minds of CBM'ers. WHO. DA. F@#$. WON. 2015? That's talking about the big four of course. Marvel, DC, FOX and SONY. Marvel 's been at it for a while. The general consensus would have to be positive overall so far for Marvel. Rather your a Marvel guy or not no one can deny how far they've come and what they've done for cbm's in general. Marvel has become a juggernaut. Ant-man, yes even Ant-man became a bigger success than most expected and crossed the 9 billion dollar finish line for the MCU. This type of success no doubt has caused rival comic book studios to take notice. DC, FOX and SONY wants to emulate Marvels success. DC went first officially entering the shared universe battle field in 2013 with MOS. The movie fell way short of DC/WB's billion dollar guarantee they boastfully put on the movie and was meet with suprisingly mix reaction. Averaging about a 50% with professional critics. DC didn't show up in 2014 or 15 in the theater but has had a slew of random TV shows. FOX had one movie in 2014 and one in 2015. Sony's last movie was in 2014. But what we want to focus on is the 2015 efforts of these studios. Hence the title, "The 2015 CBM War Update" .

Lets go down the list. First up Marvel.
Marvel 2015:
Daredevil: Considered by some to be the greatest comic book work of all time TV or movie. Matured themed. Well written. A definite win for Marvel.
Avengers age of Ultron: Excellent addition to the Marvel Universe. Dominated CBM's ranking poll with fans clearly giving the movie the five star nod. Averages a 75-80 percent with professional critics. Highest grossing cbm of 2015. Six highest grossing movie of all time.
Ant-man: Achieved the highest predicted scenario for this film. Will end its run around 450-500mil. Which is insane for this movie. Received well by fans, critics and general audience. Averages a 80% with professional critics. Made more profit than any current cbm from rival studios. Made so much in profit a sequel titled "Ant-man & The Wasp" is being fast tracked.
Agents of Shield: Well what can you say. Complete turn around for the show. Received well by critics and fans. Opened the 2015 fall season with the highest ranked basic cable show except for TWD.
Jessica Jones: Like DD, if not more so, will be considered the best comic book work of all time. Another Marvel masterpiece. Mature themed. Well written. After one episode already being heralded as the cream of the crop.
Major accomplishment: Marvel joined forces in 2015 with Sony. The #2 CBM studio this gen(yes Spiderman done that well) to bring the biggest comic character of them all into the Marvel fold.
"In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity" -pu$$ymonster
Sony:
Well as mentioned above they joined forces with Marvel. Nice war strategy. Make allies with the big dog, you can't lose. Sorry Sony fans. But they have assimilated. One gone.
"The greatest victory is that which requires no battle" -yaboi
FOX:
Fantastic Four: Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan....
"So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong, and strike at what is weak" -quickhook
DC:
DCTV: DOG S#$% comic TV shows that constantly disappoint. Mostly slap-stick tween dramas in separate universes. DC/WB doesn't even respect these shows. Soon there will be TWO separate Flashs in different universes running around. And Supergirl?! Good god man... Did anyone get a look at the The Brown Sphincter(The RED Tornado). DC and FOX man...they gonna get us shut down, they gonna get us shut down.
Marvel most certainly won 2015. Even the most stanuch hater would still probably agree.
Quick recap: Marvel had a year made of dreams. [frick] YEAH SPIDERMAN IS BACK. Sony is no more. FOX nearly brought on cbm fatigue single handedly. FF is along DC/WB's GL now the biggest cbm flops of all time and the laughing stocks of cbms. DC scattered tween dramas in separate universes.
Without Marvel in 2015 live action comic book content would have regressed 20 years. You could have combined the efforts of FOX, DC and Sony in 2015 and Marvel would have still infini-stomped.
Up next 2016.
