I have questions

1. Does this give you access to every new Marvel comic that comes out as soon as it is released? Or is it just selected titles and a backcatalog of old material?

2. Will it be available outside the US?

3. Is there an android app? There's no mention of an android app

Sigh, the way the world's going comics, books, DVDs, CDs, video game discs will all become obsolete. I remember the rumours of the next Xbox not even having a disk tray worrying me...everything has to go to digital.

This is cool and all but I love collecting things.
I love having a big DVD and music collection and a small library of books and comics.

Damn the digital age (he says as he types on his computer...)

They need to contact Comixology so we can stop getting download errors for the free Marvel Now issues.

Too bad tons of their readers learned how to pirate comics before the publishers finally pulled their heads out of their asses.

Pirated comics have been online forever! But this is a safer way to download with a more comprehensive library and as fan's 60 dollars isn't asking much. I hope alot of these no reading comic fans sign up because i'm so sick of them giving grief to the actual readers of the current comics!

i prefer printed comic books over digital, comic book collections can be quite a valuable future investments.

you've got zero chance digital comics becoming valuable, have any of you had the pleasure of reading any marvel omnibus collections.

i've got three at the moment & three on the way from amazon.

-the avengers vol 1 (hardcover 744 pages)

-the incredible hulk vol 1 (hardcover 752 pages)

-x-men vol 1 (hardcover 768 pages)

-the amazing spider-man (todd mcfarlane run hardcover 848 pages)

-x-men age of apocalypse (hardcover 1,072 pages)

-new x-men (grant morrison run hardcover 1,120 pages)

1000x better than a tablet.

Excellent and all that, but if you're going to be exclusive to Apple, I'm not interested. I use Windows Phone and like the OS so much that if you don't make an app for it I don't need you. And to ignore the Android app market is sheer stupidity.

@TheLibrarian
1. No, think of it as a Netflix streaming all of the books are months or years old. A place to read the back catalog.
2. No idea
3. Android is coming soon. I am also waiting for that for my nexus 7.

I have been subscribed to Unlimited for a few months now and I have enjoyed reading the back catalog of books.

Dont know why but I also love being able to actually hold a book in my hand...

Sure digital is better for travel, without the inconvinience of caring a book around.

But I still cant let go of holding a book! lOL
