RUMOR: Thunderbolt Ross to make a comeback in CIVIL WAR?

While the last time we've seen General Thunderbolt Ross was in "The Incredible Hulk", the recent reports are saying that William Hurt has been spotted with the cast of Captain America: Civil War in Atlanta.

The blogger states that Hurt had dinner at a local restaurant with the actors from the cast.

It is possible that Ross will be teaming up with Iron Man in the government's agenda for registration and regulation for Superhumans.

Again, I'd suggest we take this with a huge grain of salt since bloggers are not entirely reliable when it comes to this.

"Captain America: Civil War" has  a May 6, 2016 release date directed by Anthony and Joe Russo starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Frank Grillo and Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther.

This might be Ross' best chance to return into MCU.

I hope they at least acknowledge the Incredible Hulk.

I'd be cool with this. It would be great to see what he and his daughter have been up too.

It would make sense to bring him back in Civil War

Just, no Red Hulk, please

I wonder if some people will be unable to recognize the character since he was last seen in '08.

This would be cool, but kinda weird; it's a lot simpler to just ignore TIH altogether than to acknowledge it in bits and pieces. Now they'll just draw attention to the fact that, oh that's right, Betty Ross exists but who cares? Banner was keen to shack up with Black Widow and completely forget about her right. Not to mention the setup of Leader that actually set up nothing.

Im sure the fact that Hulk is an Avenger and SHIELD was protecting him this whole time really chaps Gen. Ross' butt :D

Well he's back, like he's on the synopsis and I heard he was on set so I mean he's in the movie. The interesting thing will be how he's used. Up until Civil War it seemed like TIH was basically the forgotten step child of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Iron man 2 as the black sheep. If Ross is in the movie can we please get the Hammer's wife and Daughter in AOS?

@Broadiebrodus- Betty does exist specifically it's explained in the name of the hulk buster protocal used by Iron Man and the Hulk. It's called Veronica. Veronica and betty were 2 opposite girls that loved Archie...get it?
