In a recent interview at MegaCon, Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee revealed some behind the scenes information on his hilarious cameo in this years hit 'Deadpool'. The witty 93 year old joked with the crowd by claiming he was "damn mad" and that everything wasn't as it seems....

"I don't know if I should tell you the truth about that cameo. It will kill your fun," Lee told the crowd. "I was not in the topless dancing place. I did that in the studio and then they put it into the movie, and I'm daamn mad about that!".

Although he wasn't able to film his DJ cameo on set amongst the topless women and Ryan Reynolds, Lee assured the crowd by confessing,
"I made them promise on the next one, I'm going to be right there".

All jokes aside the cameo king also hinted at soon heading to the East Coast to film three upcoming cameos. "I've got to be there either next week or the week after, and I'm going to do three cameos for three different movies. Now, I don't know what the movies are. I don't know what the cameos are, but I know I'll damn well be there".

What upcoming MCU films do you guys think the three mystery cameos are for? Thor: Ragnarok, Spiderman: Homecoming and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 are my bets. Leave your thoughts in the comments below and thanks for reading.

I'm happy for Stan getting to do all of these cameos, but l just wish Jack Kirby had a chance to be in some movies before his death too.

You may want to put this in the body of the article. "Stan Lee has been very outspoken about this issue in the past..."

Great article!

Stan didn't even create Deadpool, it's why he's not in the tom Jane punisher, or in Elektra, ghost rider blade

@Darthzilla - Is it possible he was included as a way to allow them to use the Helicarrier?

Honestly, his cameos are starting to take me out of the movie. With Age Of Ultron it felt too on-the-nose especially with the line. With Deadpool it worked as a gag. With X-Men Apocalypse it felt like it didnt fit with him appearing in a non-humourous role.

Its nice he wants to be part of things, but they should try and disguise him a little more or have it be more of a subtle cameo, or simply appearing in the background as an easter egg - have a character walk past while he's chatting about something.

@Scarilian - l agree with you there. That is why l liked his appearances in Iron Man the most, because they didn't stick out as much. I can't remember what he looked like in Iron Man 3, but for the first two he played Hugh Hefner and Larry King.

@Scarilian - I get your point, and I feel it's a valid one, but for me, I have always enjoyed his cameos. I like the humor in them. They are brief and usually don't take me out of the film, because the films have humor in them, and he is always bringing that old school humor to the scene.

The exception was Apocalypse. That moment was too serious, and seeing him there, I was expecting humor, and didn't get any, and that was fine because it wiuld have been out of place. But when I see Stan Lee I am always expecting humor. Like if they would have randomly put Hannibal Burris there. It took me out of the moment.

This is my favorite Stan Lee cameo. A very touching moment between the creator and his character.
