TASM 2: More Of Dane DeHaan's 'Green Goblin' In Latest Deleted Scene

One thing most fans seem to agree on is that Dane DeHaan did a pretty good job with what he had to work with as Sony and Marc Webb's new incarnation of the Green Goblin. In this deleted scene, we get to see him flex his nasty supervillian muscles a little more.

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Chris Cooper, Paul Giamatti, Colm Feore, Sally Field, and Chris Zylka, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to be released on DVD and Blu-ray later this month.

Another death left out of the movie, kinda like Irrfan Khan getting killed by The Lizard.

I think Dane DeHaan is a good actor but that was HORRIBLE.

The whole movie should have been deleted.

Sad that this will probably be the closest thing we'll ever get to an accurate Green Goblin look, which hasn't even been seen on screen. :(

Dane DeHaan, Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti...this movie is filled to the brim with some people's worst acting performances in years. Amazing.

Something terrible. I liked Dehaan I think they should've had him in the first movie. His relationship with Peter felt incredibly forced.

I won't have my final say for DeHann's Goblin until we see him fully fleshed out as the character we all know of. It would be viciously cool if they give him the cowl and all green make-up for the Sinister Six film.

to be honest, watching it a second time was not as bad as the 1st. This movie has the problem of the 1st, they did a good job with spidey, better than the raimi films. But Webb can not do a good villain, which is the thing that the Raimi films did very well. The villains are probably more important than the super hero because with out a good villain the conflict is boring. Look at Nolans batman movies, the batman they put on the screen i have to say that i just dont like, the worst part of the hole movies, so why do the movies do so good, the villains are so compelling.

Also to this day i dont understand why Colm Feore was cast as a throw away character Donald Menken, and not mad Adrian Tomes. He could have been partnered with Norman Osborn when Osborn bought out his company some years before, but secretly laying in wait to be able to take the company over again. He would be a great Vulture I think.
