(UPDATE) COMICS: Rick Remender And Jeremy Opena To Kickstart ASTONISHING AVENGERS?

Marvel's previously released The Astonishing X-Men and Astonishing Spider-Man, could The Avengers be next in line for the astonishing treatment? Possible creative teams for FF4 and Avengers.

Rick Remender and Jeremy Opena are rumored to be starting on a new Marvel comic series titled Astonishing Avengers according to Bleedingcool.com.
The rumor is "green with a tinge of yellow" as measured by the site's traffic-light rumor chart. The 'Astonishing' title usually means that it will be a limited series that will largely ignore any major events unfolding in the larger Marvel Universe.

Here's a few more Marvel rumors that BC posted yesterday that the above rumors is spun from.

-Rick Remender and Jeremy Opena on an Avengers book? New Avengers maybe?

-Mark Waid takes over Avengers Assemble?

-Jonathan Hickman and Essad Ribic on either Uncanny X-Men or the Avengers books that’s not the one Remender and Opena are on?

- Kieron Gillen and Greg Land on Iron Man.

- Matt Fraction and Salvador Larocca are sticking together… wherever they end up.

- Only the very best artists for a Brian Bendis cosmic relaunch…

These changes are reportedly set to happen after Avengers vs X-Men concludes. If Remender and Opena indeed move to Astonishing Avengers and Bendis departs on that new Guardians of the Galaxy series, does that mean Hickman gets plain old vanilla Avengers? I certainly hope so! And now that I think about it, the roster has to be something different from Avengers Assemble, so what non-movie Avengers do you want on the team? Personally, I was always partial to the West Coast Avengers growing up.

(UPDATE) It appears that Matt Fraction and Salvador Larocca are possibly taking over Fantastic Four and Hickman and Esad Ribic will replace Bendis on Avengers following AvsX.
