UPDATE: Hopeless And Larroca Are "WANTED" This December In Marvel NOW!

Yesterday, a new Marvel NOW! series from Dennis Hopeless and Kev Walker was teased with a blood splattered word "SURVIVE" our only clue as to what exactly it might be. The day before that saw "LIGHTNING" from Daniel Way and Steve Dillon, so whether all of these are somehow connected isn't clear, although many fans are speculating that these all have something to do with Marvel's covert teams. Today's teaser teams Hopeless up with Invincible Iron Man artist Salvador Larroca. "WANTED" could refer to just about anything, although it seems unlikely that this will be a new Punisher series as Frank Castle will be right in the middle of Greg Rucka's "War Zone" this Winter. As always, be sure to sound off with your thoughts and theories in the usual place.

UPDATE: Following the release of the teaser above by Comic Book Resources, Comics Alliance have unveiled "KILLERS" from Sam Humphries (Ultimates Comics Avengers) and Ron Garney (Wolverine). Another mystery for you guys to solve. Any thoughts?

@Stigmartyr, is Remender scheduled to leave X-Force? That would be a shame.

My guess is Killers is Hawkeye and Black Widow. I'm most likely dead wrong and an idiot, but I like it.

I think WANTED may be a new Runaways book. Marvel hasn't really had any success with their teen characters (other than Children's Crusade) so they are probably going to try and push a new team of teens. Especially since no teen superhero movies have been made. Plus, they are more believable than the Young Avengers. Having a team of kids with the same powers as the Avengers is just a little too much of a stretch.

@supermanonemillion, Avengers Academy is actually a very good book. Secret Warriors was also excellent and extremely sucessful with the fans. Hickman was pulled from the Secret Warriors and asked to take over FF.

Killers most likely is X Force. Wanted is hopefully Nova, the galaxies top cop.

Oh yeah, I'm not saying their teen books are bad, they just haven't been as successful as they should be. I just think they'll try to push a new teen book that focuses on a small cast of characters, like DC did with Teen Titans in the New 52.
