Greetings to my fellow CBM members and comic book lovers!

My name is R.A. LaMothe and have been a member of Comicbookmovie.com for some time and its been my number one resource for both comic books and CBM news for many years now. I have immensely enjoyed the articles as well as the friendly and often times, intense forum conversations.

That being said, this would definitely be the site to introduce myself and my first foray into the comic book world as both an artist and writer with my original graphic novel project: Road To ChiMera.

This story line has been in development by me for the last 4 years with the artwork being done entirely in CGI, using various 3D modeling software.
At present, Book One is completed and my plan is for an eight book mini-series, which would lead into the second series. For now, all artwork, layouts and story is being done by myself with the planning to bring on artists in the near future.

The graphic novel and more information can be found here:

Synopsis:
Road to ChiMera is a supernatural/thriller comic adventure set in a graphic novel format. In this series, a plague of evil begins in San Carlito, California after a crazed lunatic unleashes a mystical portal into the world and opens a door to a hellish under-realm filled with shadowy creatures, which have no other desire than to bring the world to its knees.
The infection begins, but three unwitting strangers all hold the key to defeating this evil menace, though they are unaware of their destinies or each other. But, through circumstance and fate, will join together to fight the greatest battle of their lives . . . and for the lives of ALL mankind!

The first two acts of Issue One are free for viewing on my website and I am preparing to distribute Book One on ComiXology and ComicsFix.com in the next few months and am also working on a Kickstarter campaign shortly thereafter for publishing and printing service expenses.
As I also work a 9 to 5 job, I am doing this in my spare time and on my own so the timing of all of this may not be exact. That being said I wanted to present this to the CBM community to get your opinions, comments and interest.

I thank you for your time in reading this, your support, and hope you enjoy Road to ChiMera!
