This is news that i'm sure will shock and upset alot of fans of The Addams Family but it's been confirmed that original Wednesday Addams actress Lisa Loring has very sadly passed away. The news broke thanks to an article on Variety which states that she died due to complications after having a stroke with her two daughters holding her hand as she quietly passed away it is also one those daughters Vanessa Foumberg who confirmed that the The Addams Family actress had passed away on Saturday saying “She went peacefully with both her daughters holding her hands" she as sixty four years old.

Lisa was of course known for playing the role of Wednesday Addams on the two season show lasting from 1964 to 1966 however she also reprised the role in the 1970's in the TV reunion movie Halloween With The New Addams Family. As well having roles in things such as CBS soap opera As the World Turns and many other roles all the way up to as recently as 2015 where she starred in the film in the comedy horror film Doctor Spine she was also she also made two appearances on the show Barnaby Jones both during the late nineteen seventies.

One the fans to leave their condolences was original The Munsters actor Butch Patrick who wrote “Very sorry to hear of my dear friend Lisa Loring’s passing. We were very close and worked together often. I know she was very weak. I was in her company just a few weeks ago. Godspeed my friend.” the actress did have a live outside of the world of acting dong makeup work under the stage name of Maxine Factor I won't say what type of films she did make up work for here since it's not the time nor really the place to do so.

Lisa was also a good dancer since in the season two episode Lurch's Grand Romance Wednesday is seen teaching Lurch how to dance. This is something that would be copied in the Netflix show Wednesday with that dance taking the internet by storm and it just goes to show just how much of a talent that she truly was and that she will be truly missed by not only those that knew her very well but by her fans as well as she was the first actress to bring the role of Wednesday Addams and have a lasting impact on the The Addams Family franchise as a whole.

Her dear friend Bonnie VVent also wrote on facebook "So sad to share the news that Lisa Loring has passed." this done by sharing a post from friend Laurie Jacobson. Who wrote "It is with great sadness that I report the death of our friend, Lisa Loring. 4 Days ago she suffered a massive stroke brought on by smoking and high blood pressure. She had been on life support for 3 days. Yesterday, her family made the difficult decision to remove it and she passed last night. She is embedded in the tapestry that is pop culture and in our hearts always as Wednesday Addams.
Beautiful, kind, a loving mother, Lisa's legacy in the world of entertainment is huge. And the legacy for her family and friends -- a wealth of humor, affection and love will long play in our memories. RIP, Lisa.  Damn, girl...you were a ton of fun."
so then rest in piece Lisa Loring.

So sorry to hear that Ms. Loring passed. She was an extremely talented actress whose work I enjoyed in The Addams Family and As The World Turns. It's interesting to reflect on the stellar cast of ATWT back then. Lisa starred alongside Julianne Moore, Ming Na Wen, John Wesley Shipp, Meg Ryan, and many others. Only wish we'd seen more of her...
