His “Chayoma: Curse of the Jangura” is a medieval epic fantasy series, filled with magic, awesome action, majestic scenes, and jaw-dropping storytelling. It tells the story of Chayoma, a girl born with special abilities who ended up being coerced into evil by the political deceptions of her own people's ruling class. She must go through several ordeals to understand the gravity of her purpose while a perilous plan is about to be set in motion in the Kitara Kingdoms of East Africa.
This well-produced animation debut from Peda Entertainment sets images from Chayoma comics into motion alongside fantastic voice dialogues and sound effects that heightens the story’s intensity.
The story is slated to be released fortnightly on the Peda Entertainment YouTube channel, with each episode about 15 minutes long. CBM readers are invited to watch the Season Trailer and Episode One Debut here:

Episode One
“Chayoma: Curse of the Jangura” started as a comic book in 2021. Since then, there have been three issues. It wasn’t until 2022 that Daniel decided to make a motion graphics movie out of the comics due to its audience acceptance and appreciation. GlobalFlix, an emerging international diversity-centric TV/Film Development and African Creatives Representation group is working with him and his teams to further bring authentic African storytelling to TV and cinema audiences worldwide.
As with the case of Peda Entertainment, “Chayoma: Curse of the Jangura” is one of their many stories that focus on Africa. Daniel believes Africans should tell original African stories, and this is what he has dedicated himself to doing through Peda Entertainment.
Digital and print issues of “Chayoma: Curse of the Jangura” are available on the Peda Entertainment website.
