This movie was great and very underrated. Anybody who says otherwise is a troll who can't accept that the new suit looks better than the old one. And that Robocop was better than Godzilla. Suck it haters.

Seriously they are not demonstrating any good damn reason why they didn't do Silver all the way through. If there is a sequel clearly they will go silver.

Nail, I'll agree that the Sam Jackson scenes were a very creative way to provide exposition. Plus I always like watching Michael Keaton since he's a Pittsburgher, but those are the only redeeming qualities I found.

Haven't seen this movie yet...but I've heard it ranged from mediocre to bad.
I like RoboCop in general and I guess the suit looks okay, but black has become really generic. Silver definitely looks cooler and stands out more.

Uh...maybe I'll check it out someday?

It is not that bad of a movie, but it is still an unnecessary remake. The originals (at least the first 2) still hold up in spite of almost being 30 years old.

LOL! Some of the trolls on here are hilarious! You didn't own anyone with those weak ass replies.

You used a hashtag to let someone know they were "owned..." If you have to use a hashtag to let someone know you owned them, it means you didn't actually own them. And using a hastag when you're not on Twitter, is quite lame. You used the word "pwned..." No one says pwned anymore. Also, you channeled Shooter McGavin in that last sentence...

I think that's fitting because much like Shooter McGavin, you're a huge tool.

To be honest I was never going to watch it until I heard Michael Keaton was in it, but he couldn't save this horrible reboot... there was a reason it flopped.

I say bring back the real ROBO, Robocop continuation set after Robocop 2. Can still have a complete new cast of actors if need be, though Weller could still play Robo, only see his head 'n' jaw!

otakux3r0 - 6/23/2014, 1:25 PM
There was nothing wrong with the reboot. I just hope this one leads to something like a decent sequel or Robocp VS Terminator.
