From La Femme Nikita and The Professional to The Fifth Element, writer/director Luc Besson has created some of the toughest, most memorable female action heroes in cinematic history. Now, Besson directs Scarlett Johansson in Lucy, an action-thriller that tracks a woman accidentally caught in a dark deal who turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic. Lucy also stars Academy Award® winner Morgan Freeman and is produced by Virginie Besson-Silla for EuropaCorp. Universal Pictures will distribute the movie worldwide, except for France, Benelux and China.

I have nearly no interest in this film other than the fact that I love Scarlett Johansson.

Morgan Freeman will make me see this movie, not Scarlett Johansson's boobs.
Her beauty is way overrated.

More Morgan Freeman please, especially if he's on helium.

@MightyZeus, Luc Besson just produced Lockout, my friend. James Mather and Stephen St. Leger directed it.

If you want to know Besson's movies, look for Nikita, The Big Blue, The Professional, The Fifth Element, Joan of Arc, Arthur and the Minimoys, and The Family.

You will like them.

This looks good to me. I like "new" ideas and despite its similarities to Limitless (not really similar) I think it'll be interesting.

It probably won't be nearly as good as I'm thinking it will, but I like that studios are still going with some new ideas like this. We've seen somewhat similar films before, but it's still different enough where I don't know exactly what will happen.

Scarjo is great, Morgan Freeman is great, and I like drug plots that enhance the mind. Limitless was great, and I imagine this will be fairly good as well.
