Let's face it, we're all familiar with cyberbullying by now. Same thing with trolling, as long as we attack others online in some way or fashion, both things apply.
Especially here on Comic Book Movie, where if you say that you like a movie, artist, comic, actor/actress, show, or video-game that other's don't happen to like that much, well, you'll be shamed. That's just how it is, & it doesn't just occur on this site, but everywhere else: YouTube, Reddit, Facebook, etc. What many people fail to realize is that no one person's mindset is alike. We see things differently than each other. For example, I'm more open-minded towards a lot of things, & even aknowledge the flaws that those things may have, but you'll never see me insult anybody for their tastes, that's just not how I roll. It may be no big deal to you, but I treat & respect people online just like I do in real life.

I've gotten used to this, as this website LITERALLY goes through the same routine everyday. I'd go so far as saying that I see that the hating is mostly coming from the MCU fans, or Marvelites as they've been famously called. I'm obviously not gonna single anyone out, but most of you all know who you are. Whether it's talking about films like the infamous
The Amazing Spider-Man 2, or simply stating the slightest bit of criticism of anything Marvel Studios related, there's always bound to be a shitstorm to approach afterwards.
My thing is, if someone likes something that you don't, then why get so caught up & confused about it? It shouldn't affect you, & you also need to realize that your opinion isn't fact (Well, I know TASM 2 & Fant4stic wasn't critically well recieved, but there are still good elements to those movies).
How would you feel if someone insulted something you had a guilty pleasure of liking? You'd defend it just like how the others & I who defended previous Spider-Man actor Andrew Garfield. Whether you think he's a great guy or not doesn't matter, what matters that he had passion for the role, & he's merely just opening up about the
Arad-ing of the films.
Welp, that's something I wanted to get off my chest, feel free to tell me stuff like
"You're making a big deal out of nothing."
"You still have bad taste."
"Someone's still butthurt from yesterday."
in the comments down below. :) Becasue guess what:
Later.
