“I think I can confirm it,” Ryder answered.

Beetlejuice is a 1988 film directed by Tim Burton. The film starred Ryder as Goth teenager Lydia, who moves into a haunted house, in which a couple of recently deceased ghosts contract the services of a "bio-exorcist" in order to remove the obnoxious new owners.  Michael Keaton starred as the sly and crude titular poltergeist.
