The lines didn't take long to start growing as we waited to enter the expanded convention at the America's Center in downtown St. Louis. Conversation took place from the fans as their anticipation grew, waiting to see the newly organized event and what surprises wait inside.

Excitement grew as more and more guests arrived in their character themed outfits, all of which were very well put together. The doors were opened, and we were led into the spacious registration hall with a "Welcome to Wizard World" banner there to greet us all. As we waited, the fans poured in, filling up the waiting lines as they struggle to see beyond the barriers and into the middle of the brightly lit stadium.

The time had come for the people to get lost amoungst the towers of beautiful artwork, perfectly perserved comic books and tons of hard to find merchandise. As we walked in, we were greeted with the sight of the legendary General Lee from the 1979 'Dukes of Hazzard' television series and the original Bumblebee from the first 'Transformers' film, with a very special item sitting inside for viewers to see.

Everyone explored the gigantic arena from end to end, buying merchandise and talking to celebs. Alot of fans blushed and got weak knees as they met great actors and actresses like William Shatner, Milo Ventimiglia, Emily Kinney, Sean Austin and even Ralph Macchio. It was the arrival of the Dynamic Duo, however, that blew the roof off the America's Center. Adam West and Burt Ward, from the 1970's 'Batman' tv show, made their way to the stage and were warmly greeted by fans young and old. A proclomation was announced by order of the mayor of St. Louis, Francis Slay, that today was officially "Batman and Robin Day".

All of this awesomeness and only the first day of this amazing weekend. I can't wait to see what other surprises await us this weekend at Wizard World Comic-Con: St. Louis.
