This poster by Drew Struzan was supposed to be used in the official promotion for the movie but was rejected. But here you can see (roughly) what one of these cowboy bothering Aliens actually looks like..

The actual Aliens have pretty much been kept out of the clips/images we have seen so far for John Favreu's sci fi Western which will premier at this year's Comic Con. But thanks to this unused poster by artist Drew Struzan, we can get a bit of a better idea of what to expect when these space fairing uglies throw down with Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford..



Says Struzan..

"not using my work seems to have become the true mark of what I do. They didn't use my Hellboy, Pan's Labyrinth... likely will not use my Cowboys and Aliens."


Well, at least we get to see his work now. Cowboys And Aliens hist theaters July 29th.

yea i don't like it much... finally we see an alien, if this is based off a graphic novel/comic, how come we haven't seen any of the aliens yet? not including the ship thing in the trailer

well it would look like star wars-indy style because those posters were made by Struzan. His posters beat all the mediocre crap movies come up with these days with photo shop and shit.

I just realized how absolutly perfect Daniel Craig would be to replace Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones, though I think Harrison would still be up to just one more if its done soon.

I must say that is one cute looking alien that Drew Struzan drew there. And his artistic style has somewhat changed to a very very lifelike look.
