We collect a ridiculous amount of stuff here at Rewind Replay. From gaming statues, made mostly of PVC, to a bunch of 1:1 scale products (most of which feature heavily on our set for our channel) and on occasion and when money allows, an impeccable Bowen Statue. For those of you who don't know, Randy Bowen is a master sculptor of many a nerdy thing. For sometime during the early 2000's up and until around 2011, he held the license for Marvel and punched out a crazy number of gorgeous products. From busts to quarter scales but mostly keeping in and around the 30cm (12 inch) mark for a vast majority of his work, each piece was limited and just as impressive as the one that came before.

With Netflix releasing the hotly anticipated "The Punisher" in just a couple of weeks we managed to get our hands on a brand new collectable, this time it's Randy Bowen's Daredevil perched on a Gargoyle. Punisher found his feet with Jon Bernthal during season 2 of Daredevil which was a good enough connection for us. Though there were a few variants available each one carries with it a slightly different price point due to rarity. We went with the classic Red costumed Devil over the other two options (one armored and one OG Yellow)

Standing 10 inches tall once placed on the gargoyle, this Daredevil piece is made of a resin mix allowing for weight and the highest finished quality possible. Standing one foot in front of the other, arms spread beside him whilst holding his signature Kali sticks and a signature scowl. The Man Without Fear is colored wonderfully with a metallic, velvety red paint and has the double D's embossed on his chest. The Gargoyle itself is just as higher quality featuring wonderfully textured surfaces and some neat wear marks to add some age to it. With a soft concrete grey leading into a deep porous black, the gargoyle is almost as intimidating as the Daredevil perched on top of it.

With a secondary "booster base" that lifts the statue up a further 3 inches as well as a pose able wire between the Kali sticks, this statue is of limited number and highly collectable. Numbering 988 out of 1500 world wide, we managed to score this bad boy for an incredibly cheap price thanks to a connection but for most it will run you approximately $325-$355 US dollars.

To see this bad boy up close, give our UN-BOXING vide a watch. If you haven't joined us here at Rewind Replay yet, please SUBSCRIBE and join the family. Until next time CBMers, much love and enjoy!
