The first trailer for Justice Society: World War II debuted a couple of weeks back, and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has now released a new batch of promo images for this latest DC animated adventure.
Though he hasn't featured in any previous promotional material, Aquaman is evidently going to play a role in the movie. Whether he'll actually be part of the Justice Society or simply appear earlier on in The Flash's timeline remains to be seen.
The story sees modern-day Barry Allen/The Flash travel back in time via the Speed Force, where he winds up joining forces with the Golden Age heroes that make up an early incarnation of The Justice Society of America. With the Fastest Man Alive tipping the odds in their favor, Wonder Woman, Hourman, Black Canary, Hawkman, Steve Trevor and Jay Garrick embark on a mission to end the Nazi threat once and for all, while searching for a way to send Allen back to his own time.
Check out the new promo shots below, along with the Blu-ray cover art and a full rundown of the bonus features.

"Justice Society: World War II finds modern-day Barry Allen – prior to the formation of the Justice League – discovering he can run even faster than he imagined, and that milestone results in his first encounter with the Speed Force. The Flash is promptly launched into the midst of a raging battle – primarily between Nazis and a team of Golden Age DC Super Heroes known as The Justice Society of America.
Led by Wonder Woman, the group includes Hourman, Black Canary, Hawkman, Steve Trevor and the Golden Age Flash, Jay Garrick. The Flash quickly volunteers to assist his fellow heroes in tipping the scales of war in their favor, while the team tries to figure out how to send him home. But it won’t be easy as complications and emotions run deep in this time-skipping World War II thriller."
The first feature-length animated film to focus on DC's first super-team will be available digitally on April 27, 2021, and on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack and Blu-ray on May 11, 2021.
