Last year, the It remake topped the first Deadpool's record when it earned $13.5 million from Thursday night preview screenings, but The Merc with a Mouth has now reclaimed his R-rated crown.

DEADPOOL 2 SPOILERS: All Of The Most Shocking Moments, Biggest Reveals, Unexpected Cameos And More

Deadpool 2 reportedly took in $18.6M last night, easily making it the best preview night ever for an R-rated film.

Today, 20th Century Fox's X-Men spinoff expands to 4,349 theaters and projections indicate that it will have a very lucrative opening weekend indeed. Exact estimates vary, but it's definitely expected to top the $138 million record set by its predecessor, and knock Avengers: Infinity War off the top spot in the process.

@RorMachine

Apparently, the movie addressed TJ Miller's recent scandals.

During the film, a news report briefly plays onscreen. At the bottom of the screen is a news ticker.

And in the news ticker? "Christopher Plummer Refuses Role in Deadpool 2."

I liked the movie although yeah, I might like the first better as well like some are saying. Its not... bloated per se, just that it feels like they didn't know what to do with all their new (and old) toys.

Saw this last night. Definitely not better than the first film or IW.
To be honest, I'm getting tired of Deadpool's schtick. It just didn't work in this second film.
Still, it was a good X-men time at the movies.

I thought it was garbage. Horrific acting, generic storyline, basic Adobe Premiere effects (like worse than the budget makes them out to be), terrible casting decisions, and everything is buried beneath Reynolds' "I refuse to move on from my college years", quasi-sarcastic, poorly tasting humor. I have no idea why it's reviewed so well. I guess we're all so forgiving when f-bombs are involved. Trash movie. 4.5/10

Deadpool 2 definitely helps get rid of the anxiety of IW with it's humor!!!
