New DEADPOOL 2 Set Photos Reveal Intriguing Cable Armor Encompassing The Time-Traveler
Josh Brolin's Cable is sporting some rather interesting "armor" in this new photo from the set of Fox's Deadpool 2. Is this a unique set of VFX pajamas or the techno-organic virus running wild?
If you recall, the first footage from Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool sequel of Cable featured Josh Brolin sporting a rather modest interpretation of the Robert Liefeld-designed bulky armor the character traditionally wears in the comics.
But the set photos below, courtesy of Just Jared (they're copyrighted so click the link in the tweet to view the gallery) reveal what appears to be Brolin in a VFX suit doing some late night grocery shopping. Previous set photos revealed Brolin wearing the costume above so it's interesting to see him in a VFX suit this time around. Are we looking at the pre-VFX effects of Cable losing control of the techno-organic virus?
Deadpool 2 is currently scheduled for release on June 1, 2018.
