DEADPOOL 3 Will See The Return Of Stefan Kapicic As Colossus And Morena Baccarin As Vanessa

It seems Ryan Reynolds really is getting the gang back together for the Merc With a Mouth's MCU debut, as Stefan Kapicic and Morena Baccarin are set to return as Colossus and Vanessa for Deadpool 3.

More Deadpool 3 casting news here, and it seems Ryan Reynolds is getting as many of the old gang back together as possible for The Marc with a Mouth's Marvel Cinematic Universe debut.

Deadline has confirmed that Morena Baccarin will reprise the role of Wade Wilson's love interest, Vanessa, while Stefan Kapicic will also be back in action as the X-Men's resident powerhouse, Colossus.

They join fellow Deadpool 1 and 2 returnees Karan Soni as Dopinder and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al. No word on whether Josh Brolin and Zazie Beetz will reprise their respective roles as Cable and Domino, but it sounds like Brianna Hildebrand might be close to signing a deal to return as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

New franchise recruits include Emma Corrin, who is believed to be playing the villain, Matthew Macfadyen, and, of course, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.

Plot details remain under wraps for now, but Wade and Wolvie are expected to find themselves (trapped?) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A recent rumor claimed that Loki's TVA, including Agent Mobius (Owen Wilson) and Miss Minutes, will be involved.

We have also been led to believe that Wade's MCU debut will be far more integral to Phase 5 and beyond than we first realized.

Shawn Levy will direct Deadpool 3, which is set to hit theaters on September 6, 2024.
