They did a nice job of balancing baddass with goofball. It's all in the eyes. Still, he should come with some kind of gag accessory, like a bag of chimichangas or a framed photo of Bea Arthur: "To my biggest fan, Wade. Please let my grandchildren go unharmed. Love, Beatrice."
