@Pasto

Then you're an idiot. I would assume that you waste your time here because you are fond of Comic Book Movies. Once they start to bomb, then they stop getting made, and we get to go back to seeing Sylvester Stallone and Dolph [frick]ing Lundgren in cheap ass straight-to-video movies that were made for $6 and change.

Really. Only a fool would frequent this site and brag about rooting against CBMs.

ANY CBM.

Duh.

"So being a fan of CBMs imply you should like and root for any of these movies like some mindless drone or 5 year old child? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard"

Nobody cares what you like or don't like. That's not at all what I said. Go nuts hating and bitching and whining like everyone here. Whoopdy-[frick]ing-doo.

I'm just saying that you're an idiot to root against CBMs if you actually like CBMs.

Duh.

"No. Once Fox's comic book movies start bombing, faux Marvel movies stop getting made. And that's a good thing."

Wrong. You think because Sony made a deal with Marvel that this is some sort of method. But it's not. Sony still owns the rights to Spider Man, they're just letting Marvel borrow them back. And Spider-Man didn't really fail. It just underperformed.

Fantastic 4 failed. And, what do you know, the rights didn't instantly snap back to Marvel. In fact, even if they did, I would doubt that Marvel would be in a hurry to make a F4 movie until after the stench dies down.

So no. That is definitely NOT a good thing.

I'd rather watch Fox's superhero movies over Marvel's any day. I'm a huge marvel comic fan, but their movies just feel like Disney cartoons. Both teams are good, but I prefer the more adult and angsty themes in Fox movies.

That's not how it works, But hey, clearly you're not into reason any more than you are into reading someone else's post.

So keep dreaming.

Marvel isn't getting the rights back to the X-Men. Deal with the reality. Even if they did, they have a full slate of movies. Where would they fit in at? Also, no one should want Deadpool to fail. You should want all CBMs to be good because that means that more will be made. If Deadpool is a good Rated R movie that makes money, that means other studios will take a chance at pushing the envelope. Just imagine if Judge Dredd received the marketing that Deadpool has? We might not even be having this conversation.
