LOKI's [SPOILER] Rumored To Appear In DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE; New Cassandra Nova Details Revealed

A new rumour claims to reveal that a major Loki character will make an appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine, while we also have intriguing intel about Emma Corrin's villainous Cassandra Nova. Check it out...

The latest trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine featured a few significant links to Loki, including the Time Variance Authority, The Void, and Alioth (you can read our full breakdown here).

Now, The Cosmic Circus is reporting that Wunmi Mosaku will reprise her role as Hunter B-15 in the upcoming threequel. The site reports that her role in Deadpool & Wolverine will be "brief," adding that she's "expected to handle the situation that presents itself in the film."

After helping to reveal the truth behind the inner workings of the TVA, B-15 became one of Loki and Mobius' closest allies. After the Temporal Loom was destroyed and the Multiverse was reborn, she was among those leading the new TVA as they set out to help it flourish rather than pruning branched timelines.

She also appeared to be on the hunt for He Who Remains' Variants, though there's currently nothing to suggest Kang will factor into Deadpool & Wolverine.

The site's resident scooper, Alex Perez, has also dropped some interesting new details about the movie on social media.

"Here's what you gotta know about Cassandra Nova," he said. "She's Clever. She's Sadistic. She's got a very dark sense of humor. She’s very f*cking dangerous. She will not hesitate to kill your [favourite]. She’s a very real threat to the Multiverse."

Perez would later describe her as a "very f*cked up individual" after she was spotted stepping out of Professor X's wheelchair, and confirmed we'll get a backstory for the villain in Deadpool & Wolverine

He'd also claim Wolverine and Nova haven't crossed paths before, but adds, "She has the same power set as Charles. So just imagine what a person with a f*cked up sense of humor could do if they could replay your darkest memories and make you experience them again?"

It's looking like Cassandra Nova is going to be a better-than-usual baddie from Marvel Studios, and someone who will pose a serious threat to our heroes. Here's a new still from Deadpool & Wolverine highlighting the villain:

Shawn Levy directs Deadpool & Wolverine, which stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Matthew Macfadyen. The movie is written by Ryan Reynolds & Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick & Zeb Wells & Shawn Levy.

The trades have confirmed that Jennifer Garner will reprise her role as Elektra, with Wesley Snipes, James Marsden, Famke Janssen, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Dafne Keen, Channing Tatum, Blake Lively and, as we mentioned above, even singer Taylor Swift among those rumoured to make an appearance.

Kevin Feige, Reynolds, Levy and Lauren Shuler Donner produce with Louis D’Esposito, Wendy Jacobson, Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, George Dewey, Simon Kinberg and Jonathon Komack Martin serving as executive producers.

Deadpool & Wolverine arrives in theaters on July 26.

I'm hoping we finally have a good Villain in this saga. The only one that was worth remembering so far has been Namor if you class him as 1. I mean, he did kill her mom.

@UniqNo - The only good Marvel villain since Infinity War was Norman and I'm even iffy on counting that because he was a Raimi villain.

@UniqNo - Oh I don't know, the High Evo, evil Dr Strange and Scarlet Witch gone psycho in MoM are up there but there have been others even if the films themselves have issues such as Kang in AM3, Gorr in T4 or Ikaris and Arishem in Eternals.

@UniqNo - Wenwu, Green Goblin, Scarlet Witch, Namor, High Evolutionary (even Gorr was pretty good, considering the movie he was in).

@HashTagSwagg - Yeah, He wasn't exactly 'new'

@Apophis71 - I thought the High Evolutionary was serviceable, but more or less forgetable. Scarlet Witch was good, but they messed up on the story. She redeemed herself in WandaVision to then go straight bat shit crazy again in her next appearance in MoM.

Bale could have been great, but the movie just wasn't on the level that Bale was trying to take it.

@ObserverIO - Wenwu was decent, but again, forgetable.

@UniqNo - Same could be said about the film, tbh, I had to go through the list before I remembered him.
Apophis71
Apophis71 - 4/23/2024, 8:07 AM
@UniqNo - I get that but the issue has been more the end product was a let down than the villain themself was bad/forgetable as opposed to prior movies that were better recieved where the villain wasn't as good such as in the first Iron Man film (or actualy all three Iron Man films).

Certainly has been a trend of both a villain and third act issue with MCU films from the get-go even when the films did well and are still loved.

@Apophis71 - I get your point, but for me at least, MoM was a let down both with her arc and the overall product. If she didn't have an arc so soon before with WandaVision then maybe i would have enjoyed it more, but to have her redeem herself 3 or 4 times now throughout her character's Journey is a bit much.

AoU, was bad with Ultron, then joins the Avengers after seeing she was wrong.

Civil War to Endgame, accidentally kills civilians, splits with Avengers etc and redemption in Endgame by helping defeat Thanos.

WandaVision, takes town hostage and then sees the wrong in her ways and releases them all safely.

MoM, decides she wants her children back and goes on a multiversal killing spree (including the 616) to then AGAIN seeing the errors in her ways.

Nah, they fumbled her arc. Watching her go batshit was entertaining though, but about as much as watching Ben Kingsley ham it up as Trevor in Iron man 3.

@UniqNo - At the very least needed better coordination between the series and MoM, cos yeh they messed up there and shouldn't have been ANY perception of redemption at the end of the show, should have been villain on the run not any sign of forgiven and allowed time to escape if that was where they were going with it. Also better ways they could have ended MoM tbh with that sort of redemption thing too but her going psycho certainly made for a major threat and memorable iteration of her at least :D

@UniqNo -
Wanda was pretty good.

@Apophis71 -
High Evo was good too. It wasn't a complete shitshow.

@UniqNo - yeah, the turnaround on Wanda was just too weird. I get she was corrupted by the Darkhold, but they needed to show that more than just have her fingertips turn black

Cool that B-15 might make a cameo , subscribes to my theory that maybe Paradox is a villain that is using Wade & Logan for his own means such as restoring the sacred timeline and B-15 stood him (maybe she was held prisoner or was somewhere else?).

Also , if true then Cassandra sounds good..

I like this “sweetness” she had in the one line in the trailer , felt very Dolores Umbridge-esque in that this outward faux-sweetness could be hiding a cruel monster underneath

@TheVisionary25 - Could be as simple as once Paradox is outed as a villain and defeated B-15 is the one who takes him into custody at the end, doubt she will have a significant role beyond something like that.

Maybe it's just Loki himself?

Good. We could use a cameo by body positivity cop 🙄

@Origame - xD
Origame
Origame - 4/23/2024, 9:05 AM
@Matchesz - in all seriousness, that's what bugged me about the tva. They're supposed to be able to capture any variant in a superhero universe, yet they're all ordinary people. And they aren't even athletic. B-15 is noticeably overweight, and mobius is noticeably old to the point of struggling to walk. How are they supposed to catch a quicksilver variant? Or a Wanda variant? I'd love to see them against a Thanos or eternal variant too 🤣
Killuminatic
Killuminatic - 4/23/2024, 9:38 AM
@Origame - Wow, you’re such a decent human being.
cubrn
cubrn - 4/23/2024, 10:11 AM
@Origame - She has the build of a shot putter. Athletic is not the same thing as skinny.
Origame
Origame - 4/23/2024, 10:19 AM
@Killuminatic - ...yes, it's decent for a human being to expect someone to look like she can take on f@#$ing superheroes when the story says she can 🙄
Origame
Origame - 4/23/2024, 10:22 AM
@cubrn - shot putting is a very specific skill. Meanwhile athletic (which does mean skinny) can handle a wide range of skills.
cubrn
cubrn - 4/23/2024, 11:15 AM
@Origame - linebackers arent skinny. Are they not athletic? What about sumo wrestlers?
Origame
Origame - 4/23/2024, 11:28 AM
@cubrn - same logic. They only have one skill for their position. That being, push others.

Athletic requires a wide arrange of skills. And that isn't gonna come from being that big.

And even then, she doesn't have those builds anyway.
cubrn
cubrn - 4/23/2024, 11:37 AM
@Origame - I can tell by your narrow definition of athletic that you are not the athletic sort
Origame
Origame - 4/23/2024, 11:48 AM
@cubrn - I can tell you anyone thinking of an athlete isn't gonna be thinking of a sumo wrestler.

Ffs, it's basically impossible for someone to start a career as a linebacker because all they really care about is getting the biggest guys they can.

Meanwhile an athletic build is something most have the capacity for yet requires skill, discipline, and training to achieve.
cubrn
cubrn - 4/23/2024, 12:02 PM
@Origame - you don’t just get big guys; you get guys that have big builds due to intense weight training. Sumo wrestlers require intense weight training. Saying what they do isn’t considered athletic because it’s just one task is no different than saying a marathon runner isn’t athletic because all they do is run.
Origame
Origame - 4/23/2024, 1:48 PM
@cubrn - you clearly don't understand what I'm saying...or even how big builds work because you're simply not gonna get that big without the frame to support it.

Not only that, but just because it's intense work doesn't mean you can suddenly do multiple physical skills.

Also, marathon runners is like prime example of how athletic translate into multiple skills. You clearly don't understand the sport.
cubrn
cubrn - 4/23/2024, 7:22 PM
@Origame - Yes, please enlighten the physical therapist (moi) all about the definitions of athleticism.
Origame
Origame - 4/23/2024, 7:32 PM
@cubrn - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Physical therapy is specifically dealing with people with conditions that can't function physically at a normal level. Since when would they understand athleticism?

Oh, but then again this is the person who didn't understand women don't have prostates 🤣
cubrn
cubrn - 4/23/2024, 7:51 PM
@Origame - You know every professional sports team has a team of physical therapists on hand, right?
Origame
Origame - 4/23/2024, 9:26 PM
@cubrn - ...in case they get injured and need to recover. Not to get to athletic shape.

That's what...TRAINERS are for.
cubrn
cubrn - 4/23/2024, 9:51 PM
@Origame - You don't think physical therapists have a deep understanding of physiological function and exercise physiology? You think we just massage muscles all day long?
Origame
Origame - 4/24/2024, 4:33 AM
@cubrn - well you certainly don't train up to levels of athleticism. That's for sure.

Cassandra Nova is probably gonna make all those classic Fox characters do some very out of character stuff, which should be very entertaining.

@marvel72 - yeah maybe a bit of that too. I'm interested to see what happened to this Logans universe that they alluded to in the trailer.
