Leslie Uggams, an African American actress has been cast as Blind Al in Deadpool. In the comics, Deadpool is sent to kill her, but ends up bonding with her. While it's been noted that Blind Al, among other will show up in the film, its unknown in what capacity.
When a Deadpool casting call was leaked it described Blind AI as: "Worldly, great sense of comedic timing, sarcastic, dry, funny." If Deadpool is a hit, we should expect to see more of Blind AI as the role called for a 3-picture deal.
