Entertainment Weekly has just unveiled new images from the Merc with a Mouth's movie! These brand new Deadpool pics provide our first look at the film's supporting cast! Ryan Reynolds already confirmed that he's headed to Comic-Con, so these new images could be the first of many more to come.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life. Directed by Tim Miller, while starring Ryan Reynolds (Wade Wilson), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa Carlysle), T.J. Miller (Weasel), with Ed Skrein, and Brianna Hildebrand (Ellie Phimister), the much-hyped Deadpool is scheduled to open in theaters on February 12, 2016.

This isn't the Fantastic Four this is the X-Men

The X-Men are fine at Fox, X-Men have a huge universe, and that's what most comments have said, I think

Anyway, Deadpool will rock, this could mean cool things for X-Force too, and I can't wait for New Mutants

I tried for about 10 minutes to figure out how this fits into the rest of the FoX-Verse and then I realized that I put more thought into than the FOX execs have.

I don't get the hate fox is getting. Everything they're putting out looks great. Even F4 which is getting a tonne of sh!t thrown at it looks decent.

@DrKinsolving, I agree, but if FOX wants to go in a new direction, they need to just completely press the reset button instead of doing all these soft reboots, where they pick and choose what parts of their past films they want to remain faithful to. I liked first class, but it would've been better if it was a total reboot. Instead, they tried to tie it into their previous trilogy and what resulted totally effed up the continuity. All of these soft reboots make the company look weak and indecisive. It's like saying "we want to go in a new direction with this franchise, but we're too afraid to really commit to that, so we'll just pick and choose the stuff we change while leaving some stuff the same."
