New DEADPOOL Trailer To Be Released On Christmas Day

We recently heard that a new trailer for Deadpool is on the way, but the Merc with the Mouth appeared in a promo during last night's SportsCenter to make it official! It's going to be released on Christmas Day, and you can find out where and when you'll be able to see it here...

December 25th is usually a very slow news day, but this year we'll be getting a brand new trailer for Deadpool! Set to air on Christmas Day during The NBA on ESPN, it will be released online shortly after, and is  a pretty damn cool present from the Merc with the Mouth! Unfortunately, the promo announcing this news hasn't found its way online just yet, but as you can see from the Instagram post below, it definitely happened! A 30 second teaser has also been confirmed as playing on IMAX screens in front of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and chances are that it will not only poke fun at that beloved franchise in typical Deadpool style, but also announce this trailer debut. Thoughts?

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Ed Skrein, Gina Carano, and  Brianna Hildebrand, Deadpool is set to be released on February 12th, 2016. Are you looking forward to it?
