Ryan Reynolds' follow up to Deadpool will be a sci-fi jaunt directed by Daniel Espinosa and written by Deadpool screenwriters Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese.  Espinosa previously worked with Reynolds in the underrated 2012 movie, Safe House.  Life, the title of Reynolds' next feature will focus on "the crew of the International Space Station, who, after retrieving a sample from Mars, discover that it displays signs of life, and proves to be more intelligent than expected."

Reynolds will costar in the film alongside Mission Impossible- Rogue Nation breakout star, Rebecca Ferguson. There's currently no confirmed release date for Life or the Deadpool sequel.
