Director Tim Miller spoke with Empire Magazine and touched on the specifics of Deadpool breaking the fourth wall in the live-action film starring Ryan Reynolds.  Said Miller, "Deadpool breaks the fourth wall. Wade Wilson never does.  Does he know he’s a comic book character in a comic book movie? Does he know that Ryan Reynolds is playing him, and that Ryan Reynolds also played Green Lantern? It’s a big rabbit hole, and we explore it pretty deep."

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Ed Skrein, Gina Carano, and Brianna Hildebrand, Deadpool is set to be released on February 12th, 2016. Are you looking forward to it?

I'm leaning the same way, but I still think $300 million worldwide is almost a guarantee. I've already got plans to see it 3 times on opening weekend. I'm even skipping both a Disturbed concert and a Trivium concert to see it. And trust me, that's a big deal. That's like you skipping a Steelers Super Bowl appearance.

It's when a character on television or a movie actively speaks to the audience, while in character. It's usually used for comedy, and it shows that the character is aware they are in a movie or show.

It's a tough personal decision. I've Sen Disturbed before So that one wasn't bad. But Trivium is hurting me, especially because it's a tiny bar venue they're playing. Only 500 people, nice and intimate with blood everywhere.

But I've been waiting for Deadpool since 2006.

@Mercwithmouth well, that makes sense if you've seen them before. I could have only dreamed of them coming to where I'm from. That's the big perk of moving to Canada is that I get to see all my favorite bands that I would not have had a chance of seeing if I stayed in my country.

Which province you in? I know both of them are playing in my city too.

I'm in Manitoba. Little town called Russell about 3 1/2 hours from Winnipeg. I've been on a concert kick the last couple years. Saw Slipknot, Suicidal Tendencies and Beartooth in October, Avenged Sevenfold and Hellyeah last year, Volbeat and Danko Jones the year before.
