CHRISTOPHER ROBIN: These Fantastic Character Posters Focus On All Your Childhood Favorites

Ant-Man and The Wasp is now in theaters so Disney is starting to turn its attention to Christopher Robin, another live-action movie which takes beloved animated characters and brings them to life on the big screen. In the case of Winnie the Pooh and company, they'll be portrayed as toys, something which makes sense considering they're supposed to be the titular character's childhood friends.

In these new character posters, we get a closer look at all of them along with some adorable shots of the toys making their way into London, a different setting from their home in the Hundred Acre Wood.

All the signs are pointing to Christopher Robin being this year's Paddington 2 but the Disney branding and familiarity of these characters means that it should be an even bigger success (expect it to tug on your heartstrings too). @Oskir - if there are other French people like me, Disney France officially said that Christopher Robin will be release October 24th... and the Nutcracker November 28th (even if I care less about this one)

@Super12 - In the old animated disney movie, the boy was already called Jean-Christophe in French, I don't really know why...

I have to say, I don't really have that close a connection to the characters as others. Met Pooh here and there throughout my adult and non-adult life, read the stories, watched this and that etc. I always liked the characters, but it's not something deeply ingrained in my childhood or anything.

The trailers for this made me tear up a bit at times. My hope would be that I can someday make a double feature with this and Paddington 2, to give me the feeling that everything will be alright.

They've been toys since 1926, where have you been?
