Details on Friday's Disney+ Day have finally been revealed, giving us a much better idea of what to expect from the streaming service's second birthday. A tonne of premieres are planned, including Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Under The Helmet: The Legacy Of Boba Fett, Jungle Cruise, and Marvel Assembled: The Making of Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings.
Of course, the big draw for many of you reading this will be the "Marvel Studios' 2021 Disney+ Day Special." We now know that's going to premiere directly on Disney+ at 8.45am PT. We're anticipating at least some sneak peeks and announcements, but will be sure to keep you updated.
Talking of trailers, it's been confirmed that starting at 6am PT, the Disney+ Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram account will be sharing "first looks, new trailers, exclusive clips, and appearances from Disney+ creators and stars for upcoming content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and in select international territories, Star."
It's certainly going to be interesting to see what Marvel Studios shares on social media and how much will be saved for that special, but Disney has to know that anything debuting there will quickly find its way online. In terms of what's going to be spotlighted, we're banking on Moon Knight and She-Hulk.
Star Wars isn't getting a special, but we have heard that an Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer might be coming.
