DUMBO Steals The Show In A Heart-Warming New Trailer And Poster For The Live-Action Disney Movie

From Disney and director Tim Burton (Batman), Dumbo expands on the beloved story where differences are celebrated, family is cherished and dreams take flight. Now, a new international trailer has been released and it should help you get even more excited for the family-friendly tale.

There's a smattering of new footage in this preview along with some familiar scenes, and it definitely appears as if Burton is hitting all the right notes and the special effects used to bring the titular elephant to life on the big screen look extremely impressive.

As of right now, there seems to be a lot more excitement for live-action adaptations like Aladdin and The Lion King so it will be interesting to see whether or not Disney manages to rebound with Dumbo after Christopher Robin didn't perform quite as well as expected last year (even though it was a pretty fantastic movie and a great tribute to the animated adventures of Pooh).

Starring Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Eva Green, Nico Parker Rooney, Douglas Reith, Joseph Gatt and Alan Arkin, Dumbo is set to be released on March 29th, 2019.

This is the first Tim Burton movie in a while I am interested in seeing. The Baby Mine scene I already know is gonna make me cry. And then you throw in Frank Reynolds in the mix too, so I know I'm gonna laugh as well.

How did they find a real elephant with huge ears like that? My friend said it has CGI, I hope it gets better now that it's a Hollywood star :O :O :P

Visually amazing, but it looks cheesy and awkward otherwise

I'm really glad to see Sharon Rooney get some prominent placement early in this trailer (woman with black hair who says "several of us find you rather attractive" to Devito), she's one of my favorite young actresses. She hasn't done much that's gotten a lot of American exposure (tho Sherlock fans may recognize her for a 2 line role in the series 3 premiere episode) but she's got great comedic timing.
