The lovely Harry Potter actress seems to have found her next project. It seems that after Pacific Rim Del Toro will be turning his attention to an adap of the classic tale and Watson is lined up to star.

We have already seen quite a few adaptations(Live action, animated, comics, plays) and variations on the classic story of Beauty And The Beast. Now we seem to be in line for another, but with CBM favorite Guillermo Del Toro at the helm and Emma Watson being looked at to star..

From Coming Soon..

Producer Denise Di Novi told ComingSoon.net at that film's New York junket today that she's developing an adaptation of Beauty and the Beast alongside del Toro and that Emma Watson is lined up to star.

The pic(from Whatculture.com) shows Watson along side Beast from the 80s tv series. He was played by Ron Pearlman, who of course started as Hellboy in Del Toro's movies of the same name. Not too much is known about the project thus far, but it is believed that the picture will retain the original setting and period rather than update the story like the recent shit fest, Beastly. Even so I question whether yet another version of the story is needed in any way, shape or form by any director. But I'll certainly reserve my criticisms until I hear a bit more about it. What do you guys think?
