KIM POSSIBLE: Check Out The First Teaser Trailer For Disney's Live-Action Remake

Disney is developing a live-action remake of beloved animated series Kim Possible for the small screen and now a teaser trailer has been released featuring actress Sadie Stanley leaping into action...

The Emmy award-winning Kim Possible ran for four seasons from 2002 to 2007, generated two movies, and earned consistently strong ratings. As a result, it's one of those cartoons which still has a strong following and a live-action movie is finally being developed for the Disney Channel. We caught a first look at Sadie Stanley as Kim during July's Comic-Con but a teaser trailer has now been released.

As you can see, it doesn't reveal much but does show the actress displaying some of the moves she's learned for the role. Playing Kim Possible could be a big stepping stone for the youngster and may lead to a spinoff series or her one day getting a big break in Hollywood (just look at Zac Efron). Kim Possible's script was written by original series showrunners Mark McCorkle and Robert Schooley.

Kim Possible stars Sadie Stanley, Alyson Hannigan, Patton Oswalt, Todd Stashwick, Taylor Ortega, Ciara Wilson, Erika Tham, Issac Ryan Brown, Christy Carlson Romano, and Connie Ray. It will debut at some point next year, so be sure to stay tuned for further updates on the project as we have them.

First off, Kim Possible was MY generation. I watched it.. you wanna fight about it. That said im 24 now and realize Disney channel originals aren't good... though nostalgic so i can appreciate the classics. Even Stevens movie, Johnny Tsunami, Up Up and Away, you name it I watched it. Im going to sleep now.....NOSTALGIA!!!!!!!!!!

@MrCamw1 - Up, Up, and Away taught me to never chew tin foil. While we're at it, I'll also throw in Under Wraps, Halloweentown, The Thirteenth Year, Mom's Got a Date with a Vampire, Eddie's Million Dollar Cook-Off, and Phantom of the Megaplex.

@JamesPunn - Brink (my favorite), Johnny Tsunami (my second favorite), the Zenon trilogy, Smart House, Rip Girls (sounds like a porn title), Up Up and Away, The Other Me, Motocrossed, The Luck of The Irish, Jett Jackson the Movie, Double Teamed (also sounds like a porn title), Tru Confessions (the saddest [frick]ing movie the Disney channel ever made), and the Even Stevens movie (the last good thing they ever made) are IN MY OPINION the only Disney channel original movies worth mentioning. Those ones were the best.

There was also My Date With The Presidents Daughter which they played all the time but idk if that was an original. But Will Friedel is always awesome and it's the movie that introduced preteen me to the Goddess that is Elisabeth Harnois.

Her and that pink dress single handedly dropped kicked my prepubescent ass into puberty overnight. I cant believe shes turning 40 next year...

As for Kim Possible, though my boy will Friedel voiced Ron and my other Disney channel crush Christy Carlson Romano (Ren Stevens) voiced Kim, I just couldn't get into the show. So I'm not all that hyped for this. Plus I haven't seen a Disney Channel original movie since the mid 2000s so I likely will be skipping this one.

@ArthurFleck - I didnt eveb know she was in the movie till about a month ago. Highlight if the film was the kid wearing the exoskeleton suit riding his bike in the freeway yelling "I'm On The Freeway"

Reminds me of the teaser for one of those live action Ben 10 movies.

I kinda hoped for a big budget movie for cinemas.
Disney Channel movies were never good/watchable.

@BootyPeep - But, yeah, you're right, everything live action from the Disney channel is actually pretty sh*tty...

@BootyPeep - I keep remembering how they slaughtered Ben 10 with their live action process. I'm not sure about this one either.

I never really watched the original but it was on in the background because my siblings did.
But that costume is pretty bad.

Kim Possible deserves better than a Disney Channel live action film, but Disney has too many properties to actually utilize them all.

"it doesn't reveal much but does show the actress displaying some of the moves she's learned for the role."----So she learned to slightly jump and spin 90 degrees???

Kim was a miscast, imo.
The rest of the cast looks great though.

Some things should just stay cartoons . Today's teenagers probably wouldn't be able to keep a pet mole rat alive never mind saving the world lol .

@thunderforce - Oh, they can't possibly use a real mole rat for Rufus, right? I mean, those things look like naked, alien freaks of nature

I try to give everything the chance, but the casting alone already looks horrible. I thought the movie was gonna be a theatrical release at first, then when I found out it was a DCOM, I knew it’d probably be low-budget trash. They should’ve at least posted it on their streaming service, or better yet, just bring the cartoon back and put Kim in college.
